PDF to quiz
Reading a chapter again feels productive, but answering questions about it from memory is what helps you remember it. Mind86 turns a PDF you upload into a chapter-by-chapter map, a short summary of each chapter, and quiz questions you answer before you look at the text.
One short chapter, one quiz. No upload needed.
Try a sample chapterHow it works
- Upload a PDF you own. A textbook chapter, lecture notes or a book. Mind86 splits it into chapters.
- Read the summary, then take the quiz. Each chapter gets a short summary and questions to answer from memory.
- Come back when it is due. Your quiz score sets when the chapter comes back for review, so weak chapters return sooner.
Why quiz yourself instead of rereading
In a meta-analysis of 272 effects, practice testing beat restudying (g = +0.51) and beat no practice (+0.93) (Adesope et al. 2017). The benefit was larger with feedback and with more tests. Evidence is weaker for math: spacing still helps, but plain recall was not clearly reliable (Murray et al. 2025).
What to check
Generated questions can be wrong or miss something your teacher cares about. Check answers against your own copy, and treat the quiz as practice, not as the source of truth.
What Mind86 is not
It is not a replacement for reading the chapter. The summary is a recap. Use it before or after you read, not instead.
Make quiz cards from your own books
Free account: upload a book you own and get quiz cards back when they are due.
Create a free accountQuestions
Is it free to try? The sample chapter needs no account and no upload. A free account lets you upload your own PDF.
Does it work with books in Arabic? Yes. Mind86 reads Arabic and right-to-left text, and has an Arabic interface.
What happens to my PDF? It is used to build your own study material. See the privacy policy for how files and accounts are handled.
